Student Travel in Northamptonshire
We have introduced a new range of student travel tickets and discounts on our services in Northamptonshire.  For more information please CLICK HERE
 
It takes two to TANGO
You can get 15% off the price of return bus travel for two adults travelling together. Just ask your bus driver for TANGO when boarding and share the same ticket, saving 15% (and reducing paper use too - though not by much!). Tango is available for any Centrebus journey in Leicestershire where return tickets are available.
 
Hinckley to Burbage service 71- from 30th August 2010
Customers are advised that the 06:54 journey from Hinckley to Burbage will be withdrawn from 30 August 2010. This is due to the removal of Leicestershire County Council funding.
 
Hinckley to Market Harborough service 58 - from 2nd September 2010
Centrebus wish to advise customers that on the 58 service, 06:26 departure from Lutterworth to Hinckley, also the 07:10 from Hinckley to Market Harborough,  is retimed to take into account the number of students hoping to travel at this time a larger capacity bus is to be allocated. The bus will run 5-10 minutes earlier.
 
Leicester to Rugby service 140 (Revised route starts 29th August 2010)
Centrebus are pleased to advise customers that as of 29th August this service will be re-routed to serve the villages of Newton and Clifton upon Dunsmore.  The service frequency will be hourly and will provide an important link for these villages to Leicester City and Rugby. Unfortunately this service will no longer serve Rugby Tesco Superstore either inbound or outbound.

Centrebus service 140 Leicester to Rugby (Diversion)
Centrebus would like to advise customers that from the 23rd August 2010, the 140 service in Lutterworth will be diverted.  This is due to the closure of Bitteswell Road for the next few days. 
 
The Rugby bound bus will be operating from Bitteswell Village then turning left into Bill Crane Way, Leicester Road and then running into Lutterworth George Street to Morrisons, and then on to Rugby.
 
The Leicester bound bus will be operating from George Street, Morrisons and then via Leicester Road and Bill Crane Way into Bitteswell Village.  It is expected that Leicestershire County Council will be arranging temporary stops along the diverted route.
  
Service 102 - Oadby Park & Ride - WITHDRAWN from 29th August 2010
 Centrebus would like to advise customers that the last day of operation for this service will be 29th August 2010.  This is due to the cancellation of this service by Leicestershire County Council.
 
Service 148 - from 6th September 2010
This service will no longer be operated by Centrebus. Please contact Leicestershire County Council for details of an alternative service.
 
Centrebus services in Corby, (Formally operated by Judges Mini Coaches)
Centrebus would like to advise customers that from the 2nd August 2010, all bus services operated by Judges Mini Coaches will now be undertaken by Centrebus. The timetables are available by visiting the Northants page.
 
Leicester to Loughborough Service 54 - revised timetable from 19th July 2010 
Centrebus wish to advise customers that as of 19th July this service will operate a revised 18:13 journey from Leicester to Quorn Cross. A copy of the Timetable is available by visiting the timetable page.
  
Leicester City to Beaumont Leys service 302 - new service from 19th July 2010
Centrebus are pleased to advise customers that as of 19th July this service will be operated by Centrebus in conjunction with Thurmaston Bus. All tickets issued are interchangeable and will be accepted by both operators.
 
This service will operate the same route as it was operated by Arriva Midlands. A evening and Sunday Service will also be available, operated by Thurmaston Bus. A copy of the timetable is available by visiting the timetable page.
 
Hinckley evening service 71A and 81A - WITHDRAWN from 19th July 2010
Centrebus customers are advised that the 71A & 81A evening service has been withdrawn.
This is due to the ending of the current contract for Centrbus to operate the service on behalf of Leicestershire County Council.
 
Sunday service 121 Leicester to Loughborough - WITHDRAWN from 12th July 2010
Centrebus customers are also advised that this service has been withdrawn by Leicestershire County Council due to funding cutbacks. _________________________________________________________________________________

Our new network tickets are only available from Payzone outlets - £19.50 per week or £70 for 4 weeks, giving unlimited travel on any Centrebus service, anywhere.

 

Forthcoming Service Changes 

 

Service 148, Leicester to Earl Shilton.

Centrebus would like to advise customers that this service will be Withdrawn as from the 6th September.The last day of operation

will be Saturday the 4th September 2010. This service withdrawal is due ending of current leicestershire Count Council contract.
