Following retendering by Leicestershire County Council there will be major changes to the Melton network from the Sunday 5th January 2025.
Please note that these changes have been instigated by Leicestershire County Council. Centrebus simply operate the services on behalf of the County Council. NEW LC1 Service
- This is a new service between Melton Mowbray and Oakham.
- It will serve Great Dalby, Twyford, Burrough on the Hill, and Somerby, to partially replace the withdrawn 100 service.

NEW Melton Connect Services - these services will operate Monday to Sunday, combining the current 14/15 Melton Town services with extensions to the new housing developments.
- MC1 service will replace the first half of the 15 service, serving Redwood Avenue and Clarke Drive, but is extended up to the new development at Leighton Road.
- MC2 service will replace part of the current 14 service, serving Queensway, Heather Crescent & Tamar Road, and then extended to serve the new development at Alderman Road & the Samworth Brothers site on the A607.
- MC3 service will replace the second half of the 15 service, serving Dieppe Way, Abingdon Road & Dorothy Avenue.
- MC4 service will replace the 14 service around Baldock's Lane, and is extended to Melton Vale 6th Form.
- MC5 is a new service to operate via Thorpe Road, to serve the new housing estate at Heron Crescent.

14/15 Melton Town Services
- These services will be withdrawn, but will be replaced with the new Melton Connect services, providing a largely better service. See below.
8 Melton Mowbray - Grantham
- This service is largely unchanged.
8A Loughborough - Melton Mowbray
- This service will be renumbered to LC8, with a slightly revised timetable.
- The 11:49 journey from Melton, 12:35 from Loughborough, and the 17:40 from Loughborough will be withdrawn.
- The 10:35 journey from Loughborough and 13:39 from Melton will divert via Ragdale and Hoby.

New FoxConnect DRT Service - Zone 1
Operating 'on demand' between 06.00 and 19.30 Monday to Saturday, this service will provide journeys into Melton Mowbray, Waltham on the Wolds & Bottesford. Connections can also be made with other local bus and rail services at these locations.
- Pick up points: Scalford, Ab Kettleby, Eastwell, Eaton, Saxelbye, Grimston, Old Dalby, Nether Broughton, Long Clawson, Hoby, Harby, Stathern, Plungar, Barkestone-le-Vale, Redmile, Bottesford, Knipton, Branston, Welby, Harston.
New FoxConnect DRT Service - Zone 2
Operating 'on demand' between 06.00 and 19.30 Monday to Saturday, this service will provide journeys into Melton Mowbray & Syston. Connections can also be made with other local bus and rail services at these locations.
- Pick up points: Barkby, Beeby, Barsby, Ashby Folville, Kirby Bellars, South Croxton, Gaddesby, Radcliffe-on-the-Wreake, Thrussington, Frisby-on-the-Wreake, Great Dalby, Little Dalby, Pickwell, Hoby, Eye Kettleby.
23/25 Melton Mowbray - Bottesford/Stathern
- These services will be withdrawn, but will be replaced by the new Demand-Responsive 'Fox Connect Zone 1' service.
- Some of the Peak journeys will be operated by Vectare. Please contact them for more information.
55/56 Melton Mowbray - Grantham
- Service 56 will be withdrawn. For locations not covered by the LC3, passengers can use the FoxConnect Zone 1 service.
- Service 55 will be renumbered to LC3, and will operate with a revised timetable.

100 Syston - Melton Mowbray
- This service will be withdrawn, but partially replaced by the new LC1 service, and partially replaced by the new Demand-Responsive 'Fox Connect Zone 2' service.
